Day 01 : Delhi

Golden Triangle Tour Packages The company representative meets you at the Delhi International airport and transfers you to the hotel. Relax at the hotel and take a tour of Delhi later on. Day 02 : Delhi

Start your Day 02 after breakfast with a Delhi tour. The tour starts at Raj Ghat or the Mahatma Gandhi memorial. Take a trip to Red Fort and Jama Masjid. Look at these ancient architectures as you drive past them in a bicycle rickshaw. Red Fort is laden with stories Mughal rule and was built in 1638- 1648. Jama Masjid is cornucopia of people streaming in and out along with nearby bazaar. Enjoy your Old Delhi ride in a bicycly rickshaw.

Modern day New Delhi holds legacy from the British rule. You can see the stark difference in new and old Delhi, which is full of architectures from the British and the Mughal Raj in India. The division in lifestyle is also clearly visible as Old Delhi is full of enchanting spells, many facets and colour while New Delhi is quieter and more according to the 21st century lifestyle.

Visit the Qutub Minar, which is the tallest stone tower in India. Drive past the Rastrapathi Bhawan or the residence of Indian President, India Gate, Parliament building. Relax in Delhi before your next day tour to Agra.

Day 03 : Delhi - Agra

By road 201 km in 4 hr

Trip to Agra is 4 hours drive, which is nearly 201 km. Start early in the morning after breakfast to reach Agra by afternoon and check in at the hotel.

Akbar and Shah Jahan made the small town of Agra immortal. These two Mughal Emperors converted the small village into the second capital of Mughal raj in India. Agra was christened as Dar-ul-Khilafat meaning the Seat of the Emperor. Modern day Agra is laden with contrasting architectures done in marble and sand stone along with big bungalows and narrow lands full to irrepressible charm that cast their spell on the city. Mughal heritage can be seen lurking from the corners of the city of Agra and you can enjoy the wafting aroma in Agra galleys emerging from the Mughlai cuisine. Taj Mahal IndiaTAJ MAHAL: The Taj Mahal India is the emblem of eternal love and needs little introduction. The mughal emperor, Shah Jahan built it in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It took 22 years to build this monument by Persian architect Ustad Isa who did the complete planning and design of the structure. The Taj is a perfect example of immaculate symmetry and design balance along with its elegant domes that possess intricately designed screens and one of the best inlay works ever seen.

AGRA FORT - It was built by the Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD. Moade from red stone, it has a picture perfect Pearl Mosque inside it which is a major tourist attraction. You also visit the Baby Taj or the Itmadullah's Tomb in Agra. Return to the hotel and relax overnight in Agra.

Day 04 : Agra - Jaipur

By road 221 km in 6 hr

Visit Fatehpur Sikri in Agra after breakfast. It is the deserted red Sandstone City built by Akbar as his palace and the capital during the 16th century. The "ruins" still stand in pristine condition of what was a veritable fairytale city. You can easily imagine the grandeur lifestyle during the court life and proceed to visit the Buland Dawrwaja which is the largest gateway in the world.

Proceed to Jaipur in a 6-hour drive. Jaipur is the pink city of Rajasthan spread in a romantic realm with magnificent palaces and strong fortresses. The royal and affluent past of regal Maharajas lies spread across the deserts which is unique in itself. The Rajput princes were known to be one of the most fearsome fighters and warriors belonging to the "Kshatriya" or the warrior class. Most of them realized the alliance with central power in India to maintain their wealth and authority locally. Many ofthe maharajas proclaimed privileged power under the Mughal as well as the British rulers.

Jaipur is a bustling city founded by Sawai Raja Jai Singh II who was titled as "Sawai" by the Mughal Emperors meaning equiavalent to "one and a quarter". He was considered to be more valuable than just one king by the Mughal rulers. The city of Jaipur was painted pink during the British rule to honour the state visit of Prince Albert. Its buildings were all coloured to pink in 1856.

Visit the Birla temple in the evening to learn about fascinating religious life of Jaipur. This marble structure has been recently built in 1985 and houses ostentatious statue of goddess Lakhsmi who is the goddess of wealth and prosperity. The Narayan or the God is dressed in ornate clothes to represent the Hindu vision of style and luxury. The covered walkways carry carvings about Hindu pantheons, St. Francis of Assisi, Blessed Virgin Mary and Jesus. The visit is well timed with the Aarti ceremony that involves worship of the God with the oil lamps to wake and invoke the deity. Enjoy your night stay at Jaipur.

Day 05 : Jaipur

Visit the Amber Fort after your breakfast early in the morning. Enjoy your ascent in the elephant ride at the fort.

Golden Triangle TourAMBER FORT PALACE - Enjoy your visit to the Rajasthan's most romantic fort palace built by Raja Man Singh in 1592 and completed by Raja Jai Singh I, his immediate descendant. You can be easily baffled by its interiors that are a stark contrast to its forbidding exteriors. The inner paradise truly depicts the perfect amalgamation of Mughal and Hindu styles fused into one. You mount the caparisoned elephant at the foot of the fort. It takes you on a slow but steady climb up to the main gate marking your entrance in time-honored fashion. It took nearly 100 years to build the fort and was completed in the 18th century. The now deserted fort portrays fascinating insight into Mughal ruling families.

CITY PALACE -It is a wonderful combaiton of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The City Palace is spread across one-seventh of the walled city area that hosts City Palace Museum, Shri Govind Dev Temple and Chandra Mahal.

JANTAR MANTAR - One of the most conservatively preserved architectures by Jai Singh II, Jantar Mantar is the best preserved observatories amongst other four built by him. The astronomical instruments in this observatory are still functional and are being used.

HAWA MAHAL - It is also known as the Palace of Winds and is one of the most prominent landmarks in the city. It is 5-storey structure done with fine trelliswork and sandstone plastered in pink. The palaces houses elaborate balconies and 953 windows and niches. Pratap Sing built it in 1799 as the royal grand stand for the women in the palace. You can spend your half day shopping and sightseeing in Jaipur. Shop for tie-dye material, silver and gold jewelry, silk, wooden handicrafts, carpets or even saris.

Day 06 : Jaipur - Delhi - Home

By road 260 km in 5 hr

Take a leisurely breakfast and enjoy shopping in Jaipur. You have full day to explore the museum and dilli-haat. Transfer to the airport for your onward destination home with sweet and lingering memories of India.
